Charming, Charming

How'd it get to be Thursday already?! We're already making plans for the weekend, which begins later tonight -- yay! But first we're whizzing off straight away to visit another university. :)

Yesterday morning we visited one of the more charming and picturesque schools I’ve ever seen. Nestled in the hilly countryside outside of Lancaster, Quernmore School is affiliated with the Church of England. With 5 teachers and fewer than 100 pupils, the pastoral setting just outside its windows enriches their topic based hands-on curriculum. Pupils in this school take field trips to locations such as the Isle of Man!

It is really great to click to photos and see the bigger pictures. The children's artwork is beautiful. The church and school is in a storybook setting. Don't you love the countryside?

We are getting soaked with rain today. No golf. BOO. We rescheduled for tomorrow.

Enjoy your weekend.

I'm excited to hear/see what your weekend plans are after this week of work. LOVE the pictures. Charming seems to be the right word!

I'm finally done with the workshop and now it's really SUMMER!

Wow, the pictures are great and it sounds like you're having a wonderful trip so far. Wish I was there. Have a glass of wine for me - I don't really do beer as much.

This is the greatest thing I have ever worked with on the computer. Glad to hear you are having a great time. You will get used to driving on the wrong side of the road..if you don't, do like Daah did while I drove, say a lot of Hail Mary's. Keep having a great time..you will be on your way home before you know it and you don't want to regret seeing anything. Luv ya,
